Coachtopia, the circular sub-line of US bag and fashion label Coach, is getting its first temporary retail space in North America.
Just a few months ago, Coach introduced its new line, which is aimed at Gen Z and their sustainability ideals, and the first pop-up is already opening in the USA, Coach announced on Thursday. This aims to combine Coachtopia’s “innovative and circular design philosophy” with the imaginative and playful spirit of today’s generation.
The aspects can be seen in the setup, among other things. Patchwork furniture made from leftover Coach leather can be found there, as well as individual pieces by artists such as upcycling designer Nicole McLaughlin.
The new Coachtopia collection will be available in the pop-up, which includes items made from ‘upcrushed upcrafted leather’, a leather that is made from leather scraps with the help of heat and pressure. But accessories made from 70 percent recycled resin, for example, are also available there.
The Coachtopia pop-up is open through August 20th in New York’s SoHo.
