John de Mol firmly against Peter Gillis: ‘We just keep going!’

John de Mol has given Peter Gillis the confidence that Talpa will simply keep him in the saddle, no matter how many declarations and penalty payments there are. “As long as there is no conviction.”

It disturbs Peter Gillis immensely that people from outside are so fanatically busy getting his reality soap ‘Familie Gillis: Massa is Kassa’ off the tube. They see the fact that Nicol Kremers has finally found the strength to report abuse as the straw that breaks the camel’s back. Why is this man still on TV, they wonder.

Sabotage

For a moment, Talpa pretended to listen to outside criticism: they promised to make a decision on the continuation of the soap once the judge has ruled. But recently, John de Mol’s club was caught hard: a new season of the reality series is already being played.

Peter thinks it’s great that John de Mol laughs at his critics and just continues with him. “Of course I also read a few things,” he says Story. “I think people have been massively busy sabotaging things and getting Massa Is Kassa off the tube!”

Support from John

According to Peter, John’s support is unconditional. “It has always been very clear to me with regard to the so-called assault case. John de Mol has always said: ‘As long as there is no conviction, we just keep going.’ People from all sides are working to get Massa Is Kassa and Petertje off the screen. That did not work!”

How is the relationship between Peter and John? “I have no direct contact with John de Mol. With his right hand, says Peter. I’ve seen John a few times, but it’s not like I have coffee with him every week.”

Wendy lashes out

Wendy, Peter’s new girlfriend, has unwavering faith in her sweetheart. “Of course there are dark clouds hanging over Peter. But facts are facts. As long as you’re not convicted…”

“I’ve never had a moment of, ‘Oh, Peter’s no good.’ No never. Otherwise I would have run away. I’m a grown women.” With a plate for her head.
