RIVM registers a new decrease in positive corona tests
RIVM registered 33,629 positive corona tests on the corona dashboard between Friday and Saturday morning. This is a decrease compared to Friday, when 49,296 reports of positive tests were received. Thus, the number of new tests continues to decline; Thursday, more than 56,000 positive tests were reported.
In the past 24 hours, RIVM received ten reports of deaths as a result of the corona virus, six fewer than the day before. However, it does not mean that these people have all died in the past 24 hours, as reports of deaths are regularly passed on with delays.
Number of hospital admissions decreases slightly
There are 1,550 people with the corona virus in Dutch hospitals on Saturday afternoon. That is 34 fewer than 24 hours earlier, according to figures from the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS).
The number of patients in intensive care increased by three to 182 people. In regular wards, this number fell by 37 to 1,368.
