Authentic Brands appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Authentic Brands Group has appointed Kevin Wills to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Wills will work at the New York headquarters of the group, which owns the brands of well-known fashion and sporting goods retailers such as Reebok, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, Ted Baker and Aéropostale, Authentic Brands announced on Thursday. He reports directly to CEO Jamie Salter.

“Kevin brings a strong track record of driving strong financial growth across a broad spectrum of public and private companies,” said Salter. “His diverse experience uniquely qualifies him to support Authentic’s expansion and drive our brand building globally. “

The new chief financial officer has held various senior finance positions in fashion, retail and consulting over the past 20 years. He comes from the US travel center operator Pilot Company, where he was CFO. He also held various positions for the US luxury fashion group Tapestry.

“Authentic’s track record of growth is excellent. The company has a solid market position and a strong foundation to support its strategic development,” said Wills.

Wills succeeds Jessica Holscott, who just joined from entertainment giant Warner Media earlier this year, as chief financial officer. Authentic did not announce whether Holscott, like her predecessor Kevin Clarke, would change within the group or leave him again.
