Girl of 14 critical after accident in Reningelst
The accident happened around 5:45 pm at the intersection of Diepestraat and Clyttesteenweg. The girl was driving with a group of young people and was coming from the direction of the Zandberg when she was hit by a car. She was taken to hospital in critical condition.
According to the driver of the car, the victim drove into the intersection without yielding.
There have been quite a few serious accidents in West Flanders this week. There were four deaths. The most serious accident happened on Tuesday in Wijtschate.
