una series mystery made in France arrives tonight on the first tv on Rai 2 (at 21.20). The island of 30 coffinsbased on the novel of the same name by Maurice Leblancknown for the adventures of Arsene Lupineweaves mystery, superstitions, detection, murders, prophecies and feelings. A 1979 French screenplay had already been drawn from the same novel with Claude Jadethe actress made her debut with Francois Truffaut And Alfred Hitchcock in Topaz.
The story focuses on Christine Vorski, a happily married woman, but marked by a bad birth 15 years earlier, which took place on the island where she grew up. A mysterious video on her cell phone will bring her back to that cursed placewhere he will find out another truth about loss of the son. Maybe he wasn’t born dead, but he was killed.

Christine Vorski (Virginie Ledoyen) is the woman at the center of the miniseries based on the novel of the same name by Maurice Leblan. The pediatrician is happily married to Raphaël (Charles Berling), despite his past being marked by a still open wound: 15 years earlier in childbirth she lost her son.
That dramatic past he returns to shake his life when he receives a mysterious video on his cell phone showing the birth that took place many before on the Breton island of Sarekwhere she grew up. Those images show Christine another truth about the loss of her son: her death was not accidental, but inflicted by three midwives, the Archignat sisters. Against her husband’s advice, Christine decides to return to the island to find out who and why their son was murdered.
