Storm Dudley makes a friend of mine doubt the drive home. “Maybe take the bike on the metro after all.” Unfortunately the metro checks are exactly today and the bike is not checked in. “No, that bike is not mine,” she says smoothly. The inspectors continue to whirl around the bike, looking for an owner. Ten minutes later I receive an app: “I just got off the metro without my bike…”
