A shed behind a house on the Van Heeckerenlaan in Coevorden caught fire. In addition to the fire brigade from Coevorden, the corps from Zwinderen, Schoonebeek and Emmen, among others, were also called up.
Firefighters quickly got the situation under control and prevented the fire from spreading to the home. However, some other sheds caught fire.
As far as is known, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is still unclear.
