German national soccer player Kai Havertz is moving from Chelsea to city rivals Arsenal. This was confirmed by the north Londoners on Wednesday evening (28/06/23). The Gunners are reportedly paying a transfer fee of around 75 million euros. No details are known about the term of the contract. Havertz will wear the jersey with number 29.
2020 from the Rhineland to the Premier League
The ex-Leverkusener switched to Chelsea in 2020 for 80 million euros. In 2021 he shot the Blues under coach Thomas Tuchel to the Champions League title. Chelsea have missed out on a place in European competitions this season. Havertz will play in the premier class again next season with Arsenal.
