Till Lindemann lawyers with findings: No evidence of sexualized violence

The end of the proceedings in Vilnius marked the start of a firework display of corrections and injunctions.

The battle for the sovereignty of interpretation of the “Row Zero” theme by Till Lindemann and Rammstein is entering the next round. While the band has routinely completed the two stadium spectacles on the Iberian Peninsula – on Saturday, July 1st, they continue in Padua, Italy – the Berlin law firm Schertz Bergmann Rechtsanwälte commissioned by Lindemann emphatically goes public.

In a letter published via the OTS information system, several individual points are addressed:

The “alleged mistreatment” that the Northern Irishwoman Shelby Lynn reported after she wanted to prove it with various photos via Twitter are rejected for lack of “objective factual evidence”. An assessment that the Lithuanian investigators also followed, as is well known.

For this purpose, the Berlin lawyers specifically consulted forensic doctors from the University of Cologne to evaluate Lynn’s photo material. “In particular, it should be assessed whether the injuries could be attributed to physical abuse,” it said. “Demonstrated by the director of the institute, Prof. Dr. Markus Rothschild, the recordings suggest an accident without external influence as the most likely cause.”

The conclusion of the physicians: “However, the findings from a forensic medical point of view are not typical of external influence”, and: “Although here, too, sexual assault or rape cannot be ruled out solely on the basis of the injury findings. Conversely, there was no evidence of sexualised violence either.”

The lawyers also comment on the “Lindemann file” at the Berlin public prosecutor’s office: “Furthermore, the inspection of the files showed that there was no objective evidence that would support our client’s commission of the crime.”

Preliminary conclusion of the law firm: All allegations against Till Lindemann are therefore only allegations. Evidence by this reading? none.

In return, the lawyers have now sent out a series of cease-and-desist letters, on the one hand against Shelby Lynn (real name: Kaya Loska) and on the other hand against Spiegel Verlag and the tabloid Blick, which belongs to the Swiss Ringier AG.
