The Finnish team has won gold in the skeet shooting team competition at the European Games. They shot in the Finnish team Timi Vallioniemi, Tommi Takanenas well as Eetu Kallioinen. Finland beat Italy in the final of the Games.
The Finnish team had a blast already in the qualifying phase of the competitions, when the team shot a world record score. The new world record is 222 discs. The old world record was held by Italy with a score of 221.
The start of the Finnish team in the competition was difficult, but Finland came level after three bombs. Finally, Finland beat Italy with a score of 7–3.

The hero of Finland’s victory was Timi Vallioniemi, who shot four points from all rounds.
