How much does a prepaid credit card cost?
You get a prepaid credit card with or without a fixed annual fee. Some providers also charge an issuing fee in the first year. But besides these obvious costs, there are also many hidden coststo watch out for. Prepaid credit cards are usually more expensive compared to traditional credit cards. If you withdraw cash from an ATM in Germany or abroad, the cash fee raised. This is quite high for some cards – so it may make more sense for you to pay by card.
You may also incur extra costs when withdrawing money or paying in other currencies. In this case, one Foreign Currency Fee attack. It is most often calculated as a percentage of the amount due. But it can also happen that even when Pay in Germany costs arise.
