Aldous Harding postpones Germany tour from 2022 to 2023

The folk artist Hannah Sian Topp aka Aldous Harding from New Zealand is on tour in Germany – but much later than planned. Because of the ongoing corona pandemic, she too feels compelled to postpone her trip. Instead of spring 2022, she now wants to appear in Cologne, Berlin and Hamburg in spring 2023.

The tour organizer announces: All tickets already purchased remain valid for the catch-up dates.

Aldous Harding himself states:

“Dear friends

We are sorry to announce that we are going to have to reschedule our 2022 European and UK dates to 2023. Despite the current COVID-19 situation easing, we are still facing a degree of uncertainty that will make touring in March / April 2022 difficult for us. Due to venue unavailability, we have had to move shows in Cologne, Nantes and Bristol to different venues and add Glasgow City Halls between our summer 2022 festivals at All Points East and End of the Road.

All 2022 tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled shows in 2023, apart from Nantes. Nantes ticket holders will be refunded and new tickets will need to be purchased for the rescheduled show at Stereolux.

If you are unable to attend a rescheduled show then please contact your ticketing agency for refunds.”

Aldous Harding is releasing her fourth album WARM CHRIS as planned. It is scheduled to be released on March 25th and will, so much can be revealed, also play a central role in the upcoming Musikexpress edition of “Star Wars”.

The still current album DESIGNER was released on April 26, 2019 and was voted our record of the week with a glorious five stars. André Boße described the pieces on it as “great songs that suggest demons behind gentle, elegant sounds”.

Harding, whose mother Lorina Harding is also a folk singer, was discovered by New Zealand singer and presenter Anika Moa while playing music on the street. Their second album PARTY was released in 2018 by IMPALA nominated in the category “European Album of the Year Award”.

On January 26th we launched a digital space that we set up for bands, musicians, promoters, clubs and solo self-employed people in the live music business. There everyone can communicate their concert announcements, postponements and cancellations and find out about projects, jobs and special releases. Statements can also be posted and opinions discussed.

It’s a kind of digital “bulletin board” and is intended to help the music scene get through the Covid crisis relatively unscathed.
