Acne Studios is back at Neuer Wall in Hamburg.
After renovations, the Acne Studios store is opening its doors again and presenting itself in a new light. The store design is a local interpretation of the Swedish brand’s retail concept created by design studio Halleroed and combines elements of classic German architecture with the label’s vision, Acne Studios announced on Monday.
The 215 square meter retail space is divided into two parts, a duality that is also reflected in the two separate entrances through which customers can enter the store.
Playful yet minimal, light yet tough, is how the Swedish brand describes the interior of its new store in Hamburg. Tie-dye chairs designed by furniture designer Max Lamb, as well as so-called “Blobs”, colorful seating furniture, bring color into play and contrast with the metals and glass that runs through the room.
Two dressing rooms covered with mirrors are located in the middle of the room, dividing it into two halves. A lighting system designed by artist Benoit Lalloz has also been installed and four sculptures by British sculptor Daniel Silver are also part of the store design.
The store at Neuer Wall 63 has been open again since June 10th.
