While many sun lovers lie on the beach of Zandvoort, a little further on the boulevard many people witnessed an arrest. The police arrested two men this afternoon who allegedly walked around with a weapon. It is currently still being searched for.
Just before four o’clock this afternoon, the police received a report about a person on the beach of Zandvoort, possibly with a firearm in his pocket. He walked around with another man.
The police then arrested the two men on the boulevard. Many people on the beach witnessed it. And still.
Stolen phones
The firearm in question is still being sought. A large part of the boulevard has been closed off. Photos show that police are searching with dogs in and around trash cans and the grass.
The men are trapped.

Chief police officer in Haarlem, De la Haye, says that last night in Zandvoort was already restless. Phones were stolen, among other things.
