A man was injured on Friday evening after his car crashed into a concrete pillar of an overpass. That happened around half past nine on the Maarheezerweg in Leende. The man was able to get out of his badly damaged car on his own.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance. The condition of the man is unknown. It is unclear what caused him to lose control of his car.
As far as is known, no other traffic was involved in the accident. The road is closed and the car wreck is being towed away.
