Timelapse shows how the New York skyline is completely engulfed in smoke from forest fires in Canada in a matter of hours

The fierce wildfires in the Canadian province of Quebec have consequences as far as the United States. Due to the northwest wind, the smoke drifts to American cities such as New York and Philadelphia. New York’s National Weather Service shared an “incredible” timelapse showing the city’s skyline disappearing almost completely in just a few hours.
