Just an outsider: Lesya Tsurenko
In the round of 16, Iga Swiatek continues with the next compulsory task against Lesya Tsurenko. At 34, the Ukrainian is one of the most experienced players on the tour but has never made the world top-20 throughout her career. Tsurenko is currently ranked 66th in the world and has reached the round of 16 in Paris for only the second time. The Ukrainian won the last title on the WTA tour five years ago in Acapulco.
