An 81-year-old man crashed his car into a concrete barrier at the Federal Chancellery on Wednesday evening.
“It was a normal traffic accident, not an attack,” said a police spokesman. The stone had been moved by about three meters. “We’ll push it back,” said the spokesman.
The driver was taken to the hospital. There are no other injuries. The spokesman said about the cause of the accident: “The driver didn’t get the curve.”
