Eleven of the 2022/23 season: Community chooses more Dortmund than Bayern

Seven clubs represented

Who were the formative players of this Bundesliga season? The TM community has reproduced this in a top eleven and nominated four professionals from runner-up Borussia Dortmund. Not even the champions from FC Bayern get that many players on the pitch.

This is how the TM community voted!

Only two people from Munich convinced the TM users in such a way that they earned a place in the eleven. Matthijs de Ligt, for whom almost 63 percent of the participants voted, is the most frequently chosen defender. Jamal Musiala (72%), who scored the winning goal in Bayern’s decisive championship game, was beaten in midfield by BVB’s Jude Bellingham. With more than 81 percent user support, the Englishman is the top player of the entire eleven.

In terms of goals scored, Christopher Nkunku from Leipzig and Niclas Füllkrug from Bremen (16 goals each) are ahead in the Bundesliga. Both secured their place in the top eleven with 74 and 48 percent of the votes respectively. Top scorer Randal Kolo Muani from Eintracht Frankfurt (15 goals/14 assists) is third in the overall ranking with 72 percent behind Nkunku. At the top of the goalkeepers is Dortmund’s Gregor Kobel. Among the coaches, Urs Fischer, who led the surprise team from Union Berlin to the Champions League for the first time, prevailed with over 20 percent.
