In the morning, several police section forces and closed units had to move out to Berlin-Mitte. Officials were attacked outside a club.

Clashes broke out around 5 a.m. in front of a club on the corner of Mohrenstrasse and Markgrafendamm. The officers who arrived first and tried to separate the opponents were attacked!

Only forces from several police departments with a large number of officers managed to calm the situation. In doing so, they deprived some men of their freedom – while they were repeatedly mobbed and threatened from the opposite side of the street.

A closed task force finally cleared the area, so that around 6 a.m. peace was restored in the center of Berlin.

Some people were transported to a detention center for identification and blood tests ordered by the judge.

The exact cause of the escalation is unknown and is being determined. Advertisements were made for assault, among other things.
