The Faculty of Communication and International Relations Blanquernafrom the private Ramon Llull University, has dismissed the teacher accused of sexually harassing to several students. The first complaint came out in September and, in application of the protocol, the university suspended employment and salary for three months. He was again cautiously separated last week after filing a new complaint, and two have been added to this in recent days. This professor currently accumulates four complaints for sexual harassment.
As soon as the second accusation became known, the faculty launched an internal investigation into the professor and, after analyzing the cases of the three new complaints against XS, the commission has concluded that “the facts have been described as very serious“. In a statement signed by the general director of the faculty, Giorgia Miotto, they have informed the active community of the faculty of the dismissal of the professor following the Collective Bargaining Agreement of the entity.

University students had demonstrated demanding their dismissal in a demonstration outside the Faculty of Communication this Tuesday, where they shouted “a teacher who has been taken advantage of is not our authority” they called for more transparency and direct actions on the part of the university.
