The market share of electric cars continues to grow strongly in Europe. In April it was 11.8 percent, compared to 9.1 percent in the same month last year. The market share in Belgium even exceeds the European one. In April 2023, that share amounted to 16.3 percent, which means almost double compared to April last year when it was still 8.3 percent. The umbrella organization of European car manufacturers ACEA reports this today.
