PARIS (dpa-AFX) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyj sees his visit to Paris as a further step towards improving relations. “Paris. Ukraine’s defensive and offensive capabilities improve with every visit,” Zelenskyy wrote on Telegram on Sunday evening about his trip to the French capital. “Relations with Europe are getting stronger and the pressure on Russia is growing.
“I will meet my friend Emmanuel (Macron),” Zelenskyy continued. “We will discuss the main points of bilateral relations.”
According to the Élyséepalast, the talks between Macron and Zelenskyj are about further military and humanitarian support. A long-term perspective for peace in Europe could also be an issue./cha/DP/zb
