The Chelsea FC has, according to media reports, reached an agreement with Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine should be the new coach of the “Blues”.
Again “Guardians”, “The Athletic” and “Sky Sports UK” reported that after extensive talks, Pochettino agreed to take over the team. Nothing has been signed yet, but it should be confirmed soon, the Guardian said.
Since July 2022 without a job
After Chelsea parted ways with Graham Potter in early April, Frank Lampard coached the team on an interim basis. Bayern Munich’s ex-coach Julian Nagelsmann was initially considered a candidate.
For Pochettino it would be a return to the island, the 51-year-old was already training him Southampton F.C and Tottenham Hotspur. His last stop so far was Paris Saint Germain, but the club had separated from him after about a year and a half. Pochettino has not had a job since July 2022.
