New barracks for the Waregem and Beveren-Leie fire brigade

The firefighters gathered in Waregem on Saturday morning to say goodbye to their ‘old’ barracks. The men of the Beveren-Leie post also collected everything in their old post to take the vehicles and all material to their new place together from there.

Hand over keys

Just before departure, they first handed over the key to their trusty post back to the city. Then the two columns of fire engines leave for good for the new fire station. The new barracks will be opened with a drink and a nice piece of cake.
