Arma is a clothing brand characterized by understated minimalism, innovative craftsmanship and timeless durability. The main focus is on high-quality leather pieces, but other luxurious fabrics are also used. Their leather and shearling jackets are particularly popular.
origin
Arma was established in Armenia in 1985 when the founder, who had been trading in leather and shearling for over 30 years, began designing garments from its fabrics. With fabric expertise, easy access and in-house manufacturing process, the brand developed expertise in craftsmanship that became a catalyst for the brand. This is what essentially defines Arma: the duality between quality manufacturing and design.
Development
Over the years, the founder passed his knowledge on to his sons and made the brand a family business. Since the brand focuses on longevity instead of fast fashion, it has been able to establish itself and expand internationally. At the same time, the brand still manages two thirds of the entire production process on its own in addition to the design process. Today Arma is run by brothers Maral and Arden Aykaz.
Current
Expansion into new markets such as Asia and the United States is the brand’s goal for the future, a result of the global launch of its webshop. In addition, in their next collections they will focus on upcycling and show how elegance and quality can be created from it.
