The German soccer record champion FC Bayern is reorganizing its staff area. The people of Munich mainly use the competition, and BVB is also affected. In addition, according to a report, a scout is coming to the Bayern team, who is said to have once discovered the German national player Florian Wirtz.
FC Bayern hired three new employees for the scouting area on July 1, as “Sport1” reports.
A few weeks ago, the change of the former Bundesliga professional Daniel Bauer from VfL Wolfsburg to the Bundesliga industry leader was reported, the “kicker” had recently also reported on Munich’s interest in BVB scout Martin Siegbert. Clarity should now also prevail with Siegbert, according to the TV station.
The third new signing is Dominique Wolff, who is moving from the sporting goods manufacturer Adidas to FC Bayern. Wolff was responsible for talent scouting and player support there.
According to “Sport1”, it was Wolff who once discovered Bayer Leverkusen’s Florian Wirtz and signed him to the company from Herzogenaurach. In addition, he has looked after today’s national player since he was young and is still considered a confidant of the Wirtz family.
Does FC Bayern hit Florian Wirtz?
FC Bayern is said to have secured Dominique Wolff’s services “not exclusively” because of a possible future commitment by the offensive player. However, it is possible that the new scout could be a decisive factor in the future if a transfer is actually planned.
In the recent past, the 20-year-old has repeatedly been associated with a move to the record champions. In view of his contract in Leverkusen, which is still valid until 2027, staying until at least 2024 seems to be the most realistic scenario at the moment.
According to “Sport1”, there should also be better cooperation between the scouting departments of the professionals and the youth teams in the future. Chief scout at FC Bayern is Markus Pilawa, who was recruited from Borussia Dortmund last summer.
