Club misses start of Play-Offs after another defeat

The match between last season’s champion and vice-champion got off to a slow start. Club had possession, but could not create any danger. Only in the final phase of the first half did the audience in the Jan Breydel Stadium wake up with a fright. First a header for Club Spileers at the intersection, and then it was a hit on the other side. Club therefore starts the Play-Offs with 0/6 and already seems certain of its fourth place. With twelve points to earn, Club is nine points behind Antwerp, which today plays against leader Racing Genk.
