Borussia Mönchengladbach has clarified the last open personnel from the current squad for the next season. Julian Weigl, on loan from Benfica last summer, has been signed on. The Bundesliga team officially confirmed this on Friday afternoon. The 27-year-old signed a contract until June 30, 2028. According to “Kicker”, the purchase option of 15 million euros was not exercised, instead Borussia negotiated the transfer fee to “well below 10 million euros”.
