Provincial Council: events must not fall victim to nitrogen and environmental regulations

Member of Parliament Wenda Bolhuis (BBB), one of the people who submitted the questions, believes that the province should take responsibility for keeping these events going. “It’s about a piece of the quality of life in the countryside, which is mainly supported by volunteers. For them, there are so many laws and regulations involved,” she denounces.

The government should put its hand in its own bosom, thinks Bolhuis. According to her, she has contributed to the fact that organizing has become so complicated. “She must therefore lend a helping hand so that events can continue.”
