Manchester United have extended the contract of attacking talent Alejandro Garnacho early. The 18-year-old Argentinian signed a new working paper on Friday until June 30, 2028. Exactly a year ago to the day, Garnacho celebrated his professional debut for the “Red Devils” in the Premier League under ex-coach Ralf Rangnick, since then he has belonged firmly to the squad.
The left winger has made 31 appearances for the United pros to date, in which he was directly involved in nine goals. The high-flyer, who has been out since March with an ankle injury, has increased his market value by 23 million to 25 million euros this season. Only Antony (23; +35 million euros) made an even bigger leap in the ranks of coach Erik ten Hag’s team.

“His talent, drive and determination to succeed quickly propelled him from our academy to the first team and this new long-term contract reflects our confidence in him to continue his exciting development under the guidance of Erik and his staff will continue,” said United’s sporting director John Murtough. “Alejandro has huge potential and we all look forward to working with him to ensure he can fulfill his ambitions here at Manchester United in the years to come.”
