At the end of the afternoon, the police saw a motorist behaving strangely on the Bredaseweg in Tilburg. The officers wanted to check him, but the driver kept driving. When the driver tried to take a turn at high speed, he went off the road. The driver then drove over a road divider, lost a wheel and rammed into a car waiting at a traffic light. After about 150 meters the vehicle came to a stop.
The driver and passenger then fled, the police managed to arrest one of them. With sniffer dogs and thermal imaging cameras, the police searched for the other occupant, but he was not found. Police are still investigating who he is.
