Telegram will be fined 1 million real (180,000 euros) per day until it complies with the court decision.

Nearly two-thirds of Brazilian smartphone users have downloaded Telegram, according to a recent survey.
It is not the first time that the company has clashed with the Brazilian authorities. Last year, the Supreme Court also issued a ban, but Telegram quickly responded to the demands – remove fake news – so that the platform did not have to go offline.
