According to information from “Sky”, Lucas Hernández is about to extend his contract with FC Bayern. For Daley Blind, however, the time in Munich is already over.
The 27-year-old Frenchman Hernández should therefore remain with the German record champions until 2027. His current contract expires in June next year. The signature should take place in the next few days, the report said. According to the club, Hernández had trained with the ball for the first time again in mid-April after tearing his cruciate ligament at the World Cup in Qatar. The French international is currently working on his comeback.
Blind, who came on a free transfer from Ajax Amsterdam in the winter and has since been called up once in the starting XI and three times as a substitute, has only played four times for FC Bayern. The 33-year-old Dutchman will not stay with the record champions beyond the season. According to “Sky”, an immediate farewell after the half-series, when the short-term contract expires, is a done deal. An extension is excluded.
