Glennis Grace does not deny that she ‘hit a dancer on the face’ during a Frank Wentink dinner show. She neither denies nor confirms the story.
Even when she’s at work, jumbo brawler Glennis Grace can’t always seem to hold back. Musical actor Tony Neef has revealed in a podcast that the singer ‘hit a dancer on the face’ in 2017 during a Frank Wentink dinner show. For that reason, he had to replace her immediately, says Tony.
Glennis calls Tony
Glennis’ management came up with a denial at RTL Boulevard on Friday evening, but that has now been withdrawn by herself. The singer states that she neither confirms nor denies it.
Where did Glennis say this? During a private phone conversation with Tony, who then reconnected with Show news has spoken. “Tony was immediately called by Glennis, because of course she finds it very annoying. She is of course just putting her career back on track after that whole Jumbo drama,” says show expert Bart Ettekoven.
Neither confirms nor denies
According to Bart, Glennis is terribly disappointed. In last night’s broadcast: “She’s just trying to work on her reputation. She certainly doesn’t want to be associated with these kinds of stories. She neither denies nor confirms the story to Tony. Tony says: ‘It wasn’t an unpleasant conversation otherwise. We actually had a very friendly conversation.’”
So the story only gets more vague. “They have known each other for years, but the story keeps buzzing around a bit: is it true, isn’t it true?”
What does Dyantha say?
What does Glennis hugger Dyantha Brooks, the presenter of Shownieuws, say about it? “I called her today on the way to Shownieuws, because at first I was like: what is this again? Throughout the entire Jumbo story I kept in touch with Glennis and that was just starting to settle down a bit.”
She continues: “The storm has passed a bit and Glennis is trying to start her career again. And I was really like, again today, this is a few steps back, because all you see is headlines like, ‘Glennis hits dancer.’ I called her and she (…) had to do some digging herself: what happened there?”
“Done or not?!”
That’s why she also called Tony, according to Dyantha. “From: ‘Hey, I only read headlines, there’s a lot of fuss, but what happened?’ Glennis said: ‘It’s just exhausting again, just wanting to get on with your life and there are heads every time.’”
Natacha Harlequin doesn’t understand it at all: “Just to be clear: did it happen or not?”
Bart: “That is not clear, but Tony says: ‘This story did not come out of the blue.’”
Patty Brard: “Yes, Frank Wentink, the organizer says: ‘We move on.’ I also find that very cryptic.”
Balding Glennis
Dyantha: “I have often been accused of being a girlfriend of Glennis. I know her personally, but personally I really have something like: can she just continue?”
Bart: “I understand that she is disappointed, but if you don’t do something, you can’t talk about it.”
