Unai Emery has succeeded brilliantly at the helm of Aston Villa.

The most interesting game of the day
When Unai Emery became Aston Villa’s manager at the start of November, the team languished below halfway in the Premier League table, just seven points clear of the relegation zone.
For the first time, Emery led Villa to a 3–1 home win over Manchester United. Since then, Villa’s trend has been so upward that the team is currently sixth in the standings, three wins away from a spot in next season’s Champions League.
Aston Villa is currently on a four game winning streak. In the Saturday afternoon match, it will face another top-flight team, Newcastle. Newcastle’s winning streak has already reached five games.
At the start of the season, few would have believed that the Aston Villa–Newcastle match in April would even have the stamp of a top fight in a certain way. Newcastle is one of those teams that is currently in the top four and thus close to next season’s value matches in Europe. By winning on Saturday, Aston Villa would seriously wedge themselves into that race.
In the build-up department, attention is drawn to the uncertain status of two Newcastle players. by Miguel Almiron and by Bruno Guimaraes game conditions are only decided at h-moment. Allan Saint-Maximin absent due to thigh injury. Aston Villa’s striker is sick Leon Baileya multipurpose planer Matty Cash as well as from the midfield Philippe Coutinho and Boubacar Chamber. If Almiron and Giumaraes are able to play, Villa should have a slight disadvantage from them.
The fact that the first mutual meeting of the season in Newcastle ended with a crushing 4–0 victory for the hosts brings its own little nuance to the match. It was after that game that Emery took the helm of Villa. So there might also be a bit of a revenge spirit in the air in the wool camp.
In terms of betting, in the Villa-Newcastle match, it is worth noting that Veikkaus offers Newcastle (at least at the time of drafting the tip) clearly the highest (2.22) coefficient on the market. However, even that is not enough as a hint.
My choice of tips for this match can be found in the number of goals box.
Newcastle still have the best defense in the Premier League. Only 21 goals have been scored in 29 matches. As Emery’s team, Aston Villa has even been surprisingly goal-scoring, but it is also worth noting that the team has kept a clean sheet in its three previous home matches and allowed the opponents to score only one goal in total.
When the importance of the match can be assumed to slightly weigh down the expected number of goals, I consider the promised 1.75 coefficient for under 2.5 goals to be the best bet. Aston Villa–Newcastle kicks off at 2:30 p.m.
The best betting tip of the day
Saturday’s best long-shot search can be found in the Championship. In the QPR–Coventry match, I strongly disagree with the market about the expected number of goals in the game.
QPR’s start to their new manager by Gareth Ainsworth under him has been really thistle. The team’s defensive play still hasn’t found any certainty – rather the opposite.
Attacking, on the other hand, has developed since Ainsworth’s first matches and QPR is already able to create a proper goal threat for their opponents. Two consecutive goalless home games gives a slightly wrong impression of the team’s home game at the moment.
Coventry, on the other hand, has been almost insanely generous in their last matches, measured by expected goals. The goal expectation average is no less than 3.63 goals per match from the previous six games.
QPR would probably be happy with even a point from this match, but I still don’t think the nature of the match is cautious as Coventry more or less need a win from this match already in their fight for the promotion places. The best line seems to be the promised 1.78 from over 2.25 goals. Here it is worth noting that in the market, prices for overs are much higher than Veikkaus’s offer, so Veikkaus might also get a higher coefficient than 1.78 at some point.
It would still be playable. QPR–Coventry kicks off at 5:00 p.m.
Another possible search is the Blackburn–Hull match over 2.25 goals with a coefficient of 1.85. Blackburn–Hull starts at 21:45.
There is also one possible long-haul search on the trotting side. In the fourth destination of the Lahti T75 trots, a field shot (other winner) tastes good with a coefficient of 1.95. In this start, the two favorites (Knocking Match and All Star Mint) have the hardest possible starting lanes (11 and 12). In addition, there are several horses in the race that have not won recently, whose energy is enough to run successfully in this task as well.
Specially Veijo Heiskanen the duo Callela Lincoln–Callela Ikaros coming from training is now interesting thanks to the changes in shoes and drivers.
The feeding site closes at 1:45 p.m.
Matches of the day: QPR v Coventry, over 2.25 goals (odds 1.78) and T75-4 winner: Other winner (odds 1.95).
