The German government has given Poland approval for the delivery of Soviet-designed combat aircraft to Ukraine.
This was announced by the Federal Ministry of Defense on Thursday in Berlin, after several media had previously reported on it. Poland wants to pass on five MiG-29 jets from GDR old stock that it had acquired from Germany.
