Actor and musician Jamie Foxx has apparently suffered a medical emergency. According to reports from his family, the 55-year-old is no longer in serious danger.
Jamie Foxx appeared to have suffered a medical emergency on Tuesday (April 11). That has a source with direct connection to Foxx the portal “TMZ” reveal. His condition was so worrying that his family – some coming from other cities – gathered in the hospital. However, a source told TMZ that he was communicating again, which of course was good. It is not known what the 55-year-old was suffering from.
On the night of April 12-13, Corinne Foxx, Jamie’s daughter, shared a post on Instagram addressing fans of the actor and musician. She wrote: “My father experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, thanks to quick action and excellent care, he is already on the mend.” The Foxx family know how loved Jamie is and appreciate the prayers. However, the family asks that privacy be respected.
When the Hollywood star can return to the set of “Back in Action”, his current film with co-stars Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz, is questionable.
Jamie Foxx won the Lead Actor Oscar for his role as Ray Charles in Ray (2005). Kanye West’s single “Gold Digger,” which features the 55-year-old, went eight times platinum in the United States. He also has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
