Eintracht Frankfurt has been fined 41,000 euros by the sports court of the German Football Association.
The verdict punished unsportsmanlike behavior by supporters of the Bundesliga club in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup against second division leaders Darmstadt 98. In the game on February 7 of this year, Eintracht fans detonated at least 41 pyrotechnic objects.
The club, which can use up to 13,600 euros of the total amount for security or violence prevention measures, has agreed to the verdict, according to the DFB.
