Carlo Boszhard rebuked his colleague Beau van Erven Dorens last night when he once again sneered at John de Mol in his talk show. “Resentment always comes to you!”
Beau van Erven Dorens’ talk show had a theme broadcast with problem youth last night. Besides Enzo Knol, André Hazes Jr. also sat at the table. One joked at the table about the speeding in his Porsche, the other joked about his sniffed nose shot. Nothing came out of any relevance.
“It is so!”
Carlo Boszhard was also at the table, namely to promote the new season of Make Up Your Mind. He corrected host Beau when it was about John de Mol at one point.
The media billionaire comes with the talent show The Talent Scouts, a kind of successor to The Voice. Beau: “John de Mol from Talpa comes with a new talent show. We are used to that from him. He actually comes with a new talent show every week.”
Carlo: “Well, well, well, well.”
Beau: “Well, isn’t it?!”
“Always that grudge!”
Carlo: “You always get resentment!”
Beau laughing: “Well, no, I’m just telling it like it is! In fact, I have presented many of them myself. The fact that you don’t know it says enough about the success of that talent show.”
Where does that resentment come from? Beau thinks that John treated him insultingly in his last year at SBS 6. According to the presenter, the media billionaire dropped him like a brick.
TV Dad
After six years, Beau’s SBS 6 adventure came to an end in April 2015. Although John de Mol personally convinced him to come to the channel at the time, he was quite done with the presenter after a whole series of failures. “On December 28, 2014, the last episode of The Winner Takes It All was,” Beau said earlier.
And then? “I remember I took him to his car and we shook hands and I never spoke to him again. While he was kind of a TV dad. (…) After that I went from his channel to RTL and I never heard anything again. Nothing. I entered RTL and still did not hear.”
Very old
Beau never forgave John. Since then, the presenter has regularly lashed out at the media billionaire in the media. He accused him of format theft, of morally reprehensible behavior, of lies and of intervening too late in the Voice drama. “There could have been far fewer casualties!”
According to Angela de Jong, Beau was therefore extremely satisfied when the takeover of Talpa by RTL failed at the beginning of this year. “He doesn’t want to go with John de Mol anymore!”
