★★★ Teenage girls between the ages of 12 and 19, suddenly and all over the world, develop a new ability that they barely learn to control: throwing electricity. Which leads to a change in the universal balance of power. This situation is combined with character stories that work more or less well. The only thing that doesn’t work is the fact that the metaphor about the condition of women oppressed for centuries is explained to us over and over again, as if the viewer were stupid.
