Is the feud between Drake and Kanye West still going on? At the end of 2021, the two rap stars met for reconciliation and then even performed together at a show in Los Angeles. But now Drake has shot Ye again: On Friday, the rapper introduced his new track “Rescue Me” in an episode of “Sound 42’s The Fry Yiy Show” on SiriusXM Radio. In the song, the 35-year-old uses an audio recording of Kim Kardashian discussing her divorce from Kanye West.
The audio is from the series finale of the reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which was canceled in June 2021. Since then, the Kardashians have had a new show called The Kardashians running on Hulu and Disney+. Kim Kardashian is quoted in the track as saying, “I didn’t get this far just to get this far and not be happy. Remember that.” Also last week, producer BNYX shared a clip from Drake’s Instagram story on Twitter, in which you can hear excerpts from Rescue Me. BNYX wrote: “I remember adding the Drake acapellas to my beats to see if they were heavy. Now look.”

For several months, Kanye West has repeatedly drawn attention to himself with racist, conspiracy theory and anti-Semitic statements and actions. Most recently, the rapper-designer posted a picture of the 21 Jump Street movie poster in late March 2023 and wrote, “Because I saw Jonah Hill on 21 Jump Street, I like Jewish people again. No one should turn their anger at one or two individuals into hatred at millions of innocent people.” Britain’s BBC recently announced it would produce a documentary about the rapper, with the working title We Need to Talk About Kanye.
