Antarctic ocean current threatens to slow down enormously: drama for our climate

The ice in Antarctica is melting rapidly and causing a huge slowdown in deep ocean currents, which can have a disastrous effect on the climate. That warns a team of Australian scientists in a new report. According to them, the deep currents that drive ocean currents could decline by 40 percent by 2050.
