The crisis emergency shelter for asylum seekers at the Graswijk in Assen will be extended until the end of this year. Since October 1, 2022, fifty asylum seekers have been accommodated on the former farmhouse, for whom there is no room in Ter Apel.
The shelter would be open until April 1. But there are still not enough reception locations available to accommodate all refugees.
That is why it has been decided to extend the shelter at the Graswijk in Assen until the end of this year.
