A fire broke out in a car garage on the Handelsstraat in Boxmeer last night around a quarter past nine. The showroom was full of smoke and smoke was also coming from the roof, a 112 correspondent said.
The fire brigade was turned out with several units. For example, there are two measuring teams, two tanker sprayers, an aerial work platform and water trucks from Cuijk and Gennep. The fire was under control around a quarter to twelve. There were no flames to be seen. As far as is known, no one was injured. The cause of the fire is not yet clear. It is also unknown whether the cars are still salable.
