In 2019 he had entered ONE Championship, one of the most important promotions in the world not only of Mma but also of Kickboxing and Muay Thai, where Giorgio Petrosyan also fights. And right at the gym of the Italian kickboxing star Lapicus he trained. To date he is one of only 3 Italians to have fought for the title in a world top promotion together with Marvin Vettori in UFC and Alessio Sakara in Bellator.
