The bride letters to Maajussi are opened and read before the Maajussi receive them – Everyone’s background is also checked

For Maajussi, the introduction episode of the bride starts the new, already 16th production season of the love reality show. The rest will be seen hosted by Vappu Pimiä in the fall on MTV3, as long as the series has been filmed first.

Today, rural residents tell a short story about themselves with the help of their loved ones and then wait for viewers to contact them. The possibility to write to them opens immediately after the episode at the address mtv.fi/haemukaan.

There is about a month’s time. Handwritten letters must be sent by April 6. Electronically, you can send a message to local residents for a little longer: until April 14. It can be done via the form on Maikkar’s website. You are asked to include your own photo and possibly also a video greeting, which at least some of the country guests frankly wish for.

Mandatory fields include full name, age, date of birth, street address, profession or field of study and whether there are children.

Advice is also given regarding what it would be good to tell about yourself. At least it would be good to bring up your hobbies and other things that are important to you.

To Maajussi from the bride’s production company Fremantle Media Finland, it is underlined that it is important to make it clear from the letter to whom it is addressed. In addition, you must include your own, accurate contact information, i.e. phone number, email address and home address, on a separate sheet. It is important to note that sent letters are opened before they are delivered to local authorities – and that all letter writers are background checked. Authors must be of legal age.
