During March, Disney presents its most recent experiences and content created by and starring women, which the public can enjoy on multiple platforms, extending the commemoration of March 8, International Women’s Day, over several weeks.

On March 9, Disney+ subscribers will be able to enjoy the premiere of Disney+ on the streaming service. “Impact” with Gal Gadot. ORA six-episode docuseries that follows the powerful stories of six women from around the world who are having an extraordinary impact in their communities. In the context of the characters from Stan Lee’s editorial, the same executive producer of the MCU, Victoria Alonsohe posted his recommendation on twitter “MPower”. The content dedicated to female superheroes of the “M” that will be displayed this week on the Disney plus platform, with the motto “Marvel’s Female Empowerment”.

Starting March 8 and running every Tuesday throughout the month, Radio Disney will present a special edition of the Iconos podcast dedicated to leading women in music. Each installment will cover a period in the history of music, focusing on the transformative role of the most recognized female artists of all time. Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Cher, Madonna, Whitney Houston, Britney Spears, Shakira, Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry will be some of the stars featured in each episode.
On National Geographic’s linear channel, commemorations will take place throughout March 8 with a marathon of themed programming culminating in the 9:00 p.m. premiere of Women of 9/11, a special featuring the women whose lives Changed Forever After 9/11 recount their stories of survival, pain, and redemption in depth.
That day, documentary series starring female figures will also be broadcast, including “Greta: the future is today”, “Frida: viva la vida” and “Akashinga”.
