As soon as he fell, the Spanish athlete was attended to by doctors, who came to help him after initially falling to the ground after hitting his head. After a few minutes they put him on a stretcher and they withdrew him consciously to be attended by the doctors of the enclosure.

The victory went to the Swiss Jason Joseph. The silver was awarded to Jakub Szymanski of Poland and the bronze to Just Kwaou-Mathey of France. the other athletes they celebrated the victory while Llopis was on the ground from the track, even without being attended by the doctors.
